Planning: Sound Sourcing
For our short film, Amber and I are unsure as to whether we will need or want any additional sound effects over the ambient and diagetic sounds we will create ourselves. Our film currently lacks a soundtrack and we feel we will not need one in our short. We want to focus on the sounds such as the toys, loud bangs within the house (which we can create ourselves), the television, footsteps, doors opening and closing, the muffled music from the earphones, heavy breathing and other diagetic and ambient sounds. The only time we feel we would need to add in sound effects is if we decide that the antagonist will giggle or not. We will attempt to do this sound with the actress of the antagonist, however if we feel it is not of good enough quality then we will use sound effects. These additions, if neccessary, will be documented during the editing phase of the production.

Planning: Shot Schedules
The shot schedules are used in order for Amber and I to begin filming on a production day with a clear plan of what we need to achieve on that day. This helps us manage our time well in order to get all the scenes we need shot, allowing for extra time if we wish to get some back-up filming. We believe that we can complete our filming within 3 days. With regards to our filming, we are going to film our piece in a chronological order as I will be acting in this film. This way of helping will help me gauge what my level of fearness will be in separate scenes. There may also be shots of improvised content as we may be in a situation that could fit with our film. For example, the reaction to weather or other ambient sounds outside could fit well with the fear of the film. For props, all days will include the boxes to show that the character ha recently moved into this house. The costume will remain casual with baggy jumpers and trousers to denote a level of comfort. We are still undecided on whether our antagonist will show their face and so we are not sure on whether we need any make-up.
Day 1:
Shots 1 through to 10 will be shot on this day. The first shot, which takes place outside, will be weather dependent as we ideally would like for there to be some rain, just to tie in the idea of pathetic fallacy into our production. Both Amber and I are required for this day as I will be acting and Amber will film these scenes. Any scenes which may not include me I will shoot in order to gain the experience of filming. We will rely on props in the first 10 scenes so props such as an iPhone, the kettle, a mug, a laptop and other props which connote a working/office space such as files and papers etc. It would be ideal if we could fim at dusk/night so that the lighting outside connotes the horror genre, as darkness is synonymous with the genre. If we film at dusk then there could be the possiblity for us to use the development of time over the short film if we feel it is neccessary. However due to clashing schedules, it may be difficult for Amber and I to find time to film.
Day 2:
Shots 11 through to 20 will be shot on this day. If the weather from day one compromised our original idea for the opening title scene then we can ue this day to shoot/re-shoot it.Again both me and Amber will be needed for this day for the same reasons as before, with me filming where possible. The props needed for this filming day will be the childrens toys mainly so the dollhouse (if we can gain access to one), dolls, moving toys, nursery rhyme books and access to the Television. We will again be filming at night for our film to keep the time frame of the short equal to the actual length of the film.
Day 3:
Shots 21 through to 25 will be shot along with any re-shoots or some extra shots if we feel it will be needed. Amber and I will both be required for filming on this day and we will also need an actor/actress for the antagonist role which could be revealed when this short film ends. We believe that my sister will be available for the role if we require someone for this role. The last scenes will require no extra props from those stated in the opening paragraph, but the introduction of the antagonists costume which includes a pinafore dress and pig-tails will be created.
Once these three days of filming ae complete then, if we have stuck to our plan and managed our time well then all scenes, including extra footage, should have been shot. If this has not been complete then we will organise extra filming days, however we wish to finish the filming before November begins, so that we can begin editing with a sufficient amount of time before our coursework deadline.

Planning: Health & Safety
The hazards stated above are the issues that seem to be most likely to occur. Serious issues that could occur include serious electrical injuries caused by short circuiting or the mix of electrical equipment and liquids. Other hazards that we have that haven't been mentioned include the camera and other filming eqiupment, such as lighting, if they are deemed neccessary for filming. We are also responisble for the safety of the actor of the antagonist, who has not been decided as of yet. Due to our smaller production team of 2/3, the risk management will be easier to control as we are not responsible for large amounts of people.
